Adjunct Faculty – Online Mathematics Teaching

Job Description:
Franklin University is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach a graduate level mathematics course beginning Fall 2019. The 12-week course will be offered in an online student-centered environment that is focused on teaching working adults. The upcoming course is Foundations of Mathematics for Computing.
Requirements for this position include a minimum of a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Mathematics Education with at least two years of teaching experience in these areas. A doctorate degree is preferred.
In addition to the educational qualifications described above, the candidate should have some experience with various online learning products and graphing calculators. The candidate should have an excellent work ethic and a passion to teach Mathematics to busy working adult students, with flexibility and integrity.
