New Charter University is seeking a candidate to fill a part-time Admissions Recruiter position. The Admissions Recruiter will be primarily responsible for recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students for the school through direct lead callbacks and website inquiry follow ups. Candidates for this position should have proven sales/recruiting experience within the Higher Education field, excellent oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree required.
  • Experience in higher education admissions recruitment, sales, marketing or other recruitment experience required. Preference will be given to those with experience in a higher education distance learning environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet complex goals and collaborate with various departments on key initiatives required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of college admissions required.
  • Demonstrated competency in organizing data and preparing reports required.
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel), as well as Google Suites (GDrive, Hangouts, Groups, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and Student Information Systems required. Experience with Canvas LMS and GeniusSIS preferred.
  • Ability to communicate with prospective students via phone, Skype, and social media outlets required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; confidence speaking with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; and comfort engaging in sales oriented communication required.
  • Ability to work in an independent, remote setting and set priorities to achieve goals/objectives required.
  • Ability to collaborate and work with team members to improve University processes and overall success.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed and/or required.
