Position Summary

Portland Community College is excited to announce the position of Online Learning Schedule Coordinator.

Last year, in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders across the college district, Online Learning launched the first-ever Planning Guide for Online Classes – an annual schedule of online classes. The Planning Guide for Online Classes allows students to create reliable online course schedules.

The Online Learning Schedule Coordinator collaborates with stakeholders across the district to use data to inform decisions about course offerings. The Coordinator must understand and appreciate the role that each stakeholder serves in the creation of the schedule. The work is supported by a highly-collaborative and goal-oriented department team.

Job Requirements:

To be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications. (Experience is calculated based on the start and end dates you provide multiplied by the number of hours per week worked).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field (experience performing the duties described above may substitute for the degree and course requirement on a year-for-year basis).
  • Three years of professional experience coordinating or supporting work with multiple stakeholders, including one year of experience in program coordination, project management, or course scheduling.
  • Travel between campuses and various remote sites requires the ability to drive and use of a personal vehicle.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in data-related field

Starting Salary Expectations
$47,335 to $50,709 (Step 3); based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Position Grade Salary Range
$47335 to $82083 Annual Salary

Paid Leave: (Pro-rated by FTE for Part-Time Employees)

  • Starts at 13.33 hours of vacation leave per month (additional vacation hours with years of services)
