Our need

We need a Magento 2 Back End Engineer who will be responsible for providing quality solutions that meet development requirements in support of our eCommerce platform projects.

Job Responsibilities:

The Magento 2 Back End Engineer is primarily responsible for producing quality, on-budget, and on-schedule solutions on projects.

Responsibilities and duties include:

• Creatively solve complex problems
• Development on the Magento 2 platform
• Develop custom extensions to be released as third-party add-ons
• Contribute to internal initiatives such as improving our development processes

Job Requirements:

• Very comfortable in HTML/CSS, Javascript & JQuery, Git, SASS or LESS, PHP, SQL, MySQL
• Experience with XML and importing/exporting XML files
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Exposure to API integrations
• Understanding of Object Oriented Principles
• Debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Magento 2 Certified Professional Associate Developer
• 2+ years of experience in web development, including maintenance programs, integrations, and servers
• Likes mentoring, coaching, and training others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with team members and clients
• Understanding of Composer (Nice to have)
• Understanding of KnockoutJS (Nice to have)
