Job Description:

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager to own content strategy and content analytics across our unpaid channels, including our E-Learning Heroes community, company blogs, and social media.
The Content Marketing Manager drives customer acquisition, engagement, and loyalty using content as a lever to capture prospect and customer attention. You’ll partner with other members of our marketing team to develop and distribute the right content to prospects and customers at various points in their journey with us. You’ll plan, implement, monitor, optimize, analyze, and report on all the content we develop—and its impact on our business.
The right person will be a skilled writer who deeply understands product positioning and messaging, has excellent project and program management skills, and thinks programmatically to make data-driven decisions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive content planning and development for web platforms (particularly E-Learning Heroes) and unpaid social channels
  • Develop and implement strategies for growing membership and engagement in our owned and social channels
  • Develop a long-term content strategy and product roadmap for owned platforms and social channels using data and a deep understanding of community member needs
  • Plan and execute unpaid social campaigns to reach acquisition and engagement goals
  • Work closely with community team to plan and optimize content for international markets
  • Plan and develop content for our weekly newsletter
  • Continuously analyze performance and trends across web properties and social channels, deriving insights and recommendations from data
  • Monitor SEO performance and adjust content planning and strategy based on results
  • Collaborate with other channel managers on cross-channel campaigns and understand how content performs across channels

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in content marketing
  • Excellent product marketing and writing skills with an ability to develop content that incorporates our brand voice and product messaging
  • Proficient using Google Analytics and SEO apps
  • Strong analytical skills and an interest in reporting and data analysis to extract meaning and present recommended actions
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills when working with teammates who may be data-driven or more qualitative
  • Attention to detail and flawless execution
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction while also functioning and contributing as part of a team
  • Positive, empathetic, driven, collaborative, flexible, and confident
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience
