Engineer, Backend – API – Auth0

We are looking for a Senior Engineer to join us as we build new functionality into our identity platform. You will be responsible for helping us build and maintain new APIs that will be operating in a high scale, low latency environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Build secure and performant web services and components.
• Build and maintain new, high impact functionality into Auth0.
• Collaborate with fellow team members on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation.
• Evaluate new technologies and techniques to improve how we operate.
• Craft well-documented, reusable, and testable code.
• Build and maintain new, high impact functionality into Auth0.

Job Requirements:

• Have experience creating public APIs.
• Enjoy being part of a highly collaborative, remote-first environment.
• Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results.
• Dream of working on a cloud service that has other developers as customers.
• Like to lead by example
• Have experience using node.js (or Javascript).
