Job Description:

Goodwall is the leading professional development network for the next generation. We guide young talent as they navigate the future of learning and earning, starting in high school and continuing through the college years with the ultimate goal of launching a successful career after graduation. By using our app, students have a platform to tell their story, get support from our inspirational community, and get connected to universities, internships, and jobs. Our top-rated app has a community of over 1 million members and our network of universities and companies spans four continents. We are a fast growing and well-financed company that takes great pride in– and thoroughly enjoys–having a diverse team and being an equal opportunity employer. Each member of our dynamic team has a unique perspective to share–as you know you will–and we are all incredibly passionate about our shared mission and goal: to help every member of our community become the best version of themselves.

Job Responsibilities:

We are looking for a business-savvy Executive Assistant with high-energy to support our CEO and COO through their very hectic daily routine. We are an international team based in Geneva, Manila, and NYC, so you’ll be responsible for making sure that they are where they need to be when they need to be there, and have everything needed for the journey (Passport? Check. Wallet? Check. Phone? Check!). They’ve got very full calendars that you’ll be in charge of managing and making sure that they know what’s next before having to ask. You don’t have to be a certified mind-reader (bonus points for that skill, though), but certainly, need to be able to anticipate needs and bring some much-needed streamlining into the workday routine. You should be comfortable working remotely and have previous experience supporting two globe-trotting startup founders.  We are open to a flexible work arrangement for this role, and while we don’t necessarily need someone to work 40 hours per week, we do need someone who is able to jump on urgent tasks when they come up from.

What you’ll do

  • Daily calendar management across multiple time zones
  • Book travel arrangements including international flights, hotels, and transportation
  • Use your experience and creativity to make sure day-to-day activities run smoothly
  • Contact team members, external stakeholders, investors, and clients and create an exceptional impression on behalf of Goodwall and our CEO
  • Meeting and event planning, both in Switzerland and in the US

Job Requirements:

  • 2+ years supporting company leaders in an international organization.
  • You know your way around managing a multi-time zone calendar and keeping the team on task
  • You’re tech-savvy and have no trouble navigating modern office tools (Slack, G Suite, etc.)
  • You know all the latest and greatest travel planning sites and can plan an international, multi-city trip with a few clicks of the mouse
  • You’ve got a big bag with many hats (and are not afraid to slap one on and tackle an unfamiliar task)
  • You speak native-level English and your strong communication skills allow you to create great rapport with anyone and everyone
  • You understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion and instinctively know when information should be kept private
  • Bonus points for previous experience supporting a startup and understanding the crazy/chaotic/awesome environment it provides

Who you’ll work with:

You will report directly to our CEO who is based in Geneva but may be elsewhere around the globe at any given time. You’ll also work closely with the rest of our Leadership team in the Geneva office, as well as team members in NYC.

We realize that Switzerland is a uniquely diverse country filled with many exceptionally talented individuals (it’s a pretty special place!). If your experience does not match the requirement list exactly, but you know you’d be a great fit for the role, we encourage you to apply and tell us why! We can’t wait to hear from you!

Diversity & Inclusion

Goodwall is an equal opportunity employer and we are committed to continuing to build a company that embraces and thrives on diversity and inclusion. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Benefits:

What we offer you

  • A challenging, fast-moving environment
  • A mission that you can be proud of
  • Ability to have  a real impact both on the company and on the future of the next generation
  • A high level of autonomy in a position that will evolve according to your strengths
  • A competitive salary, four weeks of paid time off plus paid national holidays, plus other perks including working with our small but awesome team (including Lego, Chief Pup)
