We are currently seeking an experienced Fraud Compliance Auditor, primarily with a mortgage underwriting or compliance, closing or quality control background. This will be a full-time position. Paperless environment for all loan files allows for employee to work from home. Training will be provided via remote access as well.

Job Responsibilities:

• Review selected loans for compliance with specific investor requirements
• Review appraisal, title, income documentation in file, and ensure no conflicting information
• Audit loans for any fraud or misrepresentations by any party
• Follow-up and obtain feedback from department managers and incorporate responses into the final audit report
• Assist as backup reviewing files submitted for Suspicious Activity

Job Requirements:

• Must have minimum 2 years of recent mortgage banking experience, primarily in underwriting and auditing
• Strong BSA and AML experience
• Must be familiar with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines and must be able to actively keep up with changing guidelines (FHA and VA experience a plus)
• Must be proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
• Must type at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy
• CAMS or CFE certification preferred
