Job Overview:

Future Holidays is looking for a Front-End Developer who is creative, motivated, organized and inquisitive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to transform designs into code
• Write structured, well-organized and reusable code
• Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues
• Keep abreast of best practices/trends/tools
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years experience with HTML, CSS, jQuery & Javascript (ES6/Next is a Plus)
• Basic knowledge of using GIT (version control)
• Good understanding of CSS pre-processing (PostCSS, SASS)
• Proficiency with Invision, Sketch and Adobe Creative Cloud
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• A good eye for design
• Great attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A strong understanding of UX design
• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress & Shopify
• Experience with one or more of following Vue/React
• Experience using build tools like Webpack, Gulp, Rollup
• Are experienced with Python, Ruby or PHP (and their respective frameworks)
• Have experience with Shopify & Liquid
• Have experience with Shopify API
• Have experience with WordPress
