Job Description:
We are looking for a Recruiter to facilitate hiring for Shopify’s growing teams in New Zealand and Australia. We get to spend our days looking for the best and brightest talent to join Shopify. It’s a fast-paced and insanely rewarding role as Shopify is growing quickly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement recruitment strategies;
- Post, source and recruit for a diverse pool of candidates;
- Attend events and conferences to represent Shopify and network with potential candidates;
- Conduct interviews to assess alignment to Shopify’s predictors of success;
- Manage short-list interview processes and facilitate decision making processes with hiring teams;
- Communicate regular updates to hiring managers;
- Present and negotiate job offers to successful candidates;
- Ensure a high quality candidate experience in each stage of the recruiting process.
Job Requirements:

Ideally, you have:
- Experience recruiting for a fast-paced company or organization;
- Skills in developing and maintaining strong business partnerships with hiring managers;
- Built context and a deep understanding of the teams you hire for;
- An openness to and knowledge of various assessment processes;
- A track record of working with a high degree of autonomy.
