Superside’s content team is growing fast, and we’re looking to hire a handful of Content Marketing Managers to join our amazing remote-first company. These roles will each be responsible for a key area of our content strategy, reporting into either the Head of Content and Community, or the Head of Product-Led Content.
You will have an integral role on a marketing team that has proven its ability to drive rapid growth from $1M-$10M ARR, and be part of our ongoing growth journey from $10M to $100M ARR and beyond.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Your primary role will be managing the strategy and execution for one of the following 4 areas:
    1. Lead gen content
    2. Conversion/product focused content
    3. YouTube/video content
    4. The Superside blog
  • You can expect to spend around 50% of your time on the creation of content, with the remainder focused on strategy, planning, management and reporting.
  • Although traffic is important (and we will continue to produce content that helps to boost our overall SEO strategy), the main goal of our team is to drive quality content downloads and call requests. As such, the ideas and execution of the content you work on will be tailored towards hitting those goals.
  • Working with key design and marketing stakeholders, while overseeing 1-2 Content Marketing Specialists and/or freelancers, you will help to lead major content projects that generate business results.
  • You will be in charge of pulling key metrics and measuring the effectiveness of your content efforts, using tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush and Google Data Studio.
  • We don’t expect you to do it all alone. You will have the support of our large marketing creative team to help bring your content ideas to life, our Director of Content Marketing and Head of Content leads to help lead strategy, our other Content Marketing Managers and Specialists to collaborate with, and our SEO team to ensure content is created with the right search intent.
  • You can expect to spend 10-20% of your time thinking up and trying out new wacky content ideas. Superside’s brand is still in its infancy and we want to give you the bandwidth and leeway to try new things!

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in various Content or Writing roles.
  • You have an eye for what great content looks like and know how to track your performance so you can tweak your output/production accordingly.
  • You’re an exceptional writer and editor who can craft compelling content for an audience of marketers and designers. .
  • You know how to write a headline that attracts clicks, and weave in calls to action and product storytelling tastefully.
  • You’ve worked in content at a SaaS/tech company or an agency, and are more than familiar with the goals of content and demand gen.
  • You know how to stretch a piece of content to get as many assets and uses out of it as possible.
  • You’ve managed a team before, or have overseen a handful of freelancers.
  • You’re familiar with content-related SEO, such as keyword research and optimization.
  • You can run a tight, rigorous process and manage multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
  • You have an eye for design, and understand how to work well with creative teams.
  • You are good with a high degree of flexibility and the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • You possess the desire to roll up your sleeves, execute, and create scalable processes within a growing company.
  • You are self-motivated and will constantly seek out ways to help the company with reach and efficiency.
