Remote Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer – £65-85K

A new opportunity for a Data Scientist/Machine Learning has just become available with a ‘Tech for Good’ client of ours – who are looking to begin their Data function with an experienced Data Scientist (with Machine Learning experience) to work directly with the CTO.

With extensive growth in recent years, due to the sheer traffic and volume running through their system, they’re looking for to build out their Data team by adding an enthusiastic Data Scientist that can help improve and streamline how Data is processed and utilised by them internally, to improve the functionality of the business.

Job Responsibilities:

With a background in Software Engineering and Data Science, you will have had exposure to Machine Learning processes and principles, whilst coming from a strong academic background. You will ideally be an engineer and a theorist – not just with modelling experience, but also well-versed productionising work on projects.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a Software Engineering or Data focused position, and encompass the requirements below:

• Strong knowledge of Python (other OO languages are beneficial)
• Strong experience with a variety of Data Technologies
• Experience with NLP toolkits
• Experience building Machine Learning models (Scikit-Learn, Pytorch or equivalent)
• Degree in Computer Science or other STEM subject
• This opportunity can offer anywhere from £65-85K and will allow you to work remotely from anywhere in Europe.
