Job Responsibilities:

  • As the technical writer, you will be developing technical documentation, guides and much more for our community. Specifically, you will:
  • Write technical documentation for our products including “how to” guides, reference manuals, technical overviews, and more. Clearly communicate complex and technical features by taking a user-centric approach.
  • Interact with product developers, advocates, ecosystem developers, project managers, and especially users. You must be able to communicate technical details to internal and external audiences alike.
  • Structure and write content for product and launch materials—websites, blog posts, white papers, major releases, features, and everything in-between.
  • Contribute to and implement style guides and shared nomenclature across Zeppelin.
  • Help your colleagues at Zeppelin write more and better by providing tips, feedback, and playbooks. Develop content strategies and copywriting for non-product-related initiatives, including efforts targeted at specific audiences or brand positions.

Job Requirements:

  • You possess 2+ years of experience writing technical documentation.
  • You are able to write long- and short-form copy and for a diverse user base with different levels of technical experience.
  • You are knowledgeable of the different approaches to documentation (technical writing fundamentals such as the target audience, the document structure, document formats, etc.)
  • You are able to create concise, task-based user documentation.
  • You may have some knowledge of blockchains\cryptocurrencies.
  • You may have experience as a developer\tester\analyst in IT is a plus.
  • You may have some basic knowledge of git, HTML & CSS, and Markdown.
