Job Description:
Hippo Education is hiring a remote part-time Assistant Medical Editor to review and organize our content to make sure it meets the Hippo standards you’ve come to expect. Our content team is a group of fun, motivated educators driven to make a positive difference through inspiring education.
Job Responsibilities:
- Research and summarize medical topics using core texts and online resources
- Summarize audio and video education into written outlines
- Peer review and edit educational content, including videos, written assets, and question-bank question items
- Categorize and tag educational content for organizational purposes
- Review user questions and clinical queries
Job Requirements:
- Advanced practice provider (NP or PA) with a passion for medical education and 2+ years of clinical experience in a broad specialty (eg, emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, pediatrics)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent with PowerPoint or Keynote, Google docs
- Participation in and submission of a work audition project, as well as a virtual interview, will be required as part of the hiring process
- 5 hours per week with regular weekly virtual team meetings
- The work is expected to be remote
