Job Description:
At Angie Hospitality, we are creating the world’s first cloud-powered, interactive guest room assistant, created just for hotels. Our product, known as Angie, has been designed from inception as an enterprise-class, cloud-managed solution that is purpose-built specifically for hospitality. Angie’s multilingual voice and high-resolution touch screen interfaces are easy for guests to access, use and understand.
We’re looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our growing team and help deliver the Angie product to hotels, large and small, worldwide. As an early hire on a small team, you’ll definitely be able to help shape and direct what we build.
You can expect competitive pay and flexible hours. We are a fully remote team.
How We Work:
Angie Hospitality is an American company based in San Jose, California.
The team is completely distributed between North Ameria and Europe and all team members work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

At times, this will involve integrations with other systems and protocols as we expand our network of partner organisations and products. You will learn about speech recognition and modern AI tools along the way. You will be expected to work together with other engineers at times, and as a senior engineer you will be expected to give input on high level architecture decisions, and communicate those decisions to other developers on the team.
Job Requirements:
- 4+ years experience in working with Ruby on Rails or other comparable web development platform.
- Ability to read and understand C/C++ that you may be interfacing with.
- Ability to design, develop and document APIs
- Experience with Linux.

Some of the tools that we work with:
- Ruby on Rails
- Coffeescript / Javascript / JQuery
- PostgreSQL, MQTT, Redis

We Expect That:
You enjoy working within a team and travelling occassionally for face-to-face meetings.
