Job Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do
Responsibilities

Working with project managers and other members of the design team to design websites, advertisements, and viral marketing pieces for various clients using the Adobe Creative Suite
Testing/editing multiple websites to make sure we’re getting the best possible user experience for our clients
Working on minimal site edits while continuing to learn HTML and CSS
WebFX designers typically work on 25+ projects a year so there is a high level of variety in work, and two days are never the same
Learning how to work with various frameworks like WordPress, Magento, and Bootstrap
Training is provided on all core platforms, tools, and technologies.

Percentage Breakdown

25% designing homepage and inner page prototypes for various clients using the Adobe Creative Suite
25% creating online advertisements
20% creating social media branding and identity
20% creating viral marketing pieces – infographics, motion graphics, online guides, longform graphics
10% minimal site edits/learning HTML and CSS

Training

Our “Bootcamp” web marketing training program will be provided for new WebFX “family members”.
On-site, state of the art training amenities to facilitate departmental trainings, trend watch reports, and monthly Lunch-and-Learns

Job Requirements:

Desired Education

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree – preferably in art, graphics, design, advertising, interactive, digital communications, web design, or related degree (GPA above a 3.4)

General Knowledge

Outstanding skills in Photoshop and Illustrator
Optimization
Web design best practices

Experience

Experience creating online advertisements
Experience with social media branding and identity
Customer service experience
Proficiency in After Effects, Illustrator, or InDesign (bonus)
Knowledge of web design conventions (bonus)
Knowledge of user experience (bonus)
Knowledge of web standards, optimization, and web design best practices
Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, or PHP/MySQL(bonus)
Basic knowledge of open source CMS such as WordPress (bonus)

Compensation

$42K to $44K negotiable if applicant has prior experience (title/responsibilities would change too)
- GPA 3.8+ : add up to $3k to high range
- Elite college or university & graduation with high honors: Add up to $3.5k-$5k to high range
