Job Description:

As a QA Tester for Mixed Reality at HoloMeeting, you understand the core concepts and challenges of automated testing & quality assurance in games, and use this knowledge to build a framework that provides thorough coverage of our large-scale and complex holographic meeting application. In essence, bugs can happen but you make sure that a client only ever experience the same bug once since for the next time, you have included that in your tests and check for it the next time.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Self-responsible conception, execution and documentation of QA system
  • Translate elements of game design and technical documents into robust validation plans
  • Break down game systems into discrete, measurable, test cases
  • Attending stand ups and planning sessions representing the QA team
  • Create a pipeline for manual and exploratory functional and nonfunctional testing of our Mixed Reality applications
  • Testing features and logging issues
  • Ensuring product remains functional across all platforms
  • Working closely with developers, producers, artists and support to ensure requirements are understood, and key issues are flagged in a timely manner
  • Ensuring high levels of quality throughout our products to maintain a high user experience of our software
  • Maintaining automated test frameworks
  • Experience using source control systems and tools e.g. Git
  • Owning quality analytics to report on product quality and customer readiness
  • Bug tracking, maintenance, reporting and analysis

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with Unity 3D
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. C#)
  • Previously worked with project tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Agile and the Scrum methodology
  • Practical knowledge of test automation
  • Experience with manual, exploratory, regression and non-functional testing


  • Experience testing complex web apps
  • Experience of using TDD and BDD
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools
  • Writing technical documentation
  • Writing automated QA system for web applications (NodeJS)
  • Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality experience (ideally Microsoft HoloLens)
  • UWP experience
  • Photon Networking
