Splice is seeking a skilled and driven Brand Designer to join the Creative team. The Brand Designer will work to support Splice’s core brand, initiatives, and partnerships, as well as the evolving ecosystem of music tools. The successful candidate will support the Creative team and work quickly and efficiently, producing high-quality work and iterating rapidly. As an experimental and innovative designer, the work will be often ephemeral, engaging, and of the moment. The successful candidate will create designs that reflect Splice’s visual brand and values, while also being flexible to adapt to changes. This position reports to the Associate Creative Director.

Salary

In accordance with New York law, the salary range for this role if filled within New York is $74,375 – $95,625. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Job Responsibilities

• Design a variety of projects including web experiences, video graphics, content-led sub-brands and initiatives, and social-first franchises that celebrate the people and stories at the heart of our brand.
• Understand and apply the Splice identity and brand system correctly to all projects, and support team members throughout the company in doing the same.
• Develop creative and engaging visuals to communicate our constantly evolving ecosystem of products and features.
• Collaborate with creative and editorial teams, as well as others, to ensure successful implementation of your work from beginning to end.

Job Requirements

• 3–5+ years of relevant experience, whether in-house or at an agency.
• Ability to adapt design systems across multiple platforms.
• Experience collaborating with other designers, photographers, and creatives.
• Strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to storyboard, wireframe, and sketch ideas to effectively communicate your concepts to your collaborators.
• Passion for music or creator culture.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with team members and partners from different departments.
• Ability to contribute to brainstorming sessions and participate in constructive design critiques.
