We are seeking a Sr. System Administrator/ IT Manager position to be part of a fast-paced Global IT department supporting approximately 650 users globally! We are looking for an IT Generalist who can wear many hats in response changing business needs. In addition to experience, we are seeking someone with a professional demeanor, exceptional customer service and communication skills, demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting abilities, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. To maintain minimal downtime for our users, this position requires flexibility in schedule with the ability to work occasionally on evenings and weekends.

The client uses many different platforms including Linux, Windows, Citrix, VMware, Checkpoint and Epic Resolute Professional Billing software.

Pay range: $80,000 – $115,000

Job Responsibilities:

  • Overall IT management for US infrastructure build on VMware environment and located in Denver co-location and Denver Office as well as remote US workers and satellite office in Memphis, TN
  • Active Directory Management, including DNS, DHCP and File Server along with Desktop management and support
  • Network administration including design and management of local and wide area networks using Cisco networking devices
  • Security administration including management of the Checkpoint firewall and coordination of other security tools such as anti-virus, Office 365 email continuity and spam control, IDS, etc.
  • Citrix On premise administration
  • FTP server administration
  • Red Hat Linux and Windows system administration
  • Work with customers, vendors, and business contacts to define customer requirements
  • Review and determine appropriate security patches, OS and necessary application upgrades on a regular basis
  • Design, configure, test new services and features and document/provide training to other on the team to support those services
  • Create and maintain disaster recovery procedures
  • Able to troubleshoot TCP/IP issues
  • Able to respond to system outages during off-hours
  • Able to work evenings and weekends when required
  • Managing EPIC Infrastructure <x{(}>(</x{(}>mainly Cache Database)
  • Managing HL7 interface files <x{(}>(</x{(}>format conversion and reconciliation)

Job Requirements:

  • Six plus years of related technical and business experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience and/or Certifications
  • Windows Domain Server administration experience
  • VMware experience required along with SAN management
  • EPIC ODBA/ECSA certification
  • Citrix administration experience
  • Checkpoint or other firewall experience preferred
  • Prior/ current employment with a Healthcare Entity is a must
  • Experience of participation in SOC2/ HITRUST certification/ recertification
  • VMware Certification preferred
  • LAN/WAN networking experience with Cisco devices preferred
  • Linux experience a plus
  • Experience managing infrastructure in a data center co-location
  • Experience managing vendor contracts
  • Experience utilizing technical knowledge to consult and participate on technical solutions and project management activities
  • Healthcare Experience required with knowledge of and experience with HIPAA and HITECH
  • Management experience not required
