About the position

This position will be apart of a two-person Development Team supporting the Development Director in identifying, soliciting, cultivating, and stewarding potential and existing donors worldwide for GCCM.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with writing and submitting grants
  • Respond to donor correspondence
  • Oversee GCCM’s donor acknowledgment process
  • As needed, enter donor information and correspondence into the donor database (Salesforce)
  • Identify and conduct research on potential new grantors for GCCM
  • Help develop and execute GCCM’s online solicitation strategy
Job Requirements:
  • Endorses and embodies GCCM values and the Laudato Si’ paradigm in behavior and words; comfortable supporting and working in a faith-based environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as in close coordination with a remote team across multiple time zones
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Google Apps Suite, and Salesforce (if possible, but not required) with the ability to learn new applications and
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of integrity
