The Product Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing high-quality suppliers and manufacturers for our products. The role will ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and supplier reliability while supporting the marketing and branding teams in sourcing materials and packaging solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  •  Source and evaluate suppliers – Identify, vet, and establish relationships with manufacturers and backup vendors for product development.
  •  Procure and test samples – Work with the marketing and branding teams to ensure sourced materials meet design and functional needs.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts – Secure the best rates, favorable terms, and supply reliability while maintaining high product standards.
  • Build and maintain a supplier database – Develop a structured list of contacts and resources for procurement needs.
  •  Monitor supplier performance – Track quality, delivery timelines, and cost-effectiveness to ensure optimal supplier partnerships.

Project Deliverables & Success Metrics

  • Within the Project Scope, the Specialist is expected to:
  • Develop a comprehensive supplier list, including primary and backup vendors.
  • Successfully source and deliver samples that align with branding and product specifications.
  • Secure supplier contracts with cost-effective pricing and favorable terms.
  • Ensure at least 95% supplier reliability (on-time delivery & adherence to quality standards).
  • Identify and onboard at least two backup suppliers for key product lines.

Job Requirements

  • Supplier Sourcing & Negotiation – Proven ability to research, identify, and negotiate with manufacturers and vendors.
  •  Product & Material Evaluation – Strong understanding of product quality, materials, and branding considerations.
  • Database & Relationship Management – Ability to build and maintain a structured network of reliable suppliers.
  • Analytical & Decision-Making Skills – Assess supplier reliability, cost efficiency, and production capabilities.
  • Attention to Detail & Organization – Ability to manage multiple supplier relationships and procurement timelines.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  •  Experience in global sourcing and international supplier management.
  •  Knowledge of import/export regulations and compliance.
  • Background in cost analysis and procurement strategy development.

Experience & Education:

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or purchasing.
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
