Orange Comet is seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. We are at the forefront of bringing the biggest entertainment brands and IPs to content creation platforms like Roblox, Minecraft, and Fortnite. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user interfaces and crafting engaging user experiences specifically for Roblox games. Applicants should have at least three years of experience in UI/UX design, with a deep understanding of Roblox’s unique platform and player interactions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for Roblox games.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flow diagrams to communicate design ideas.
• Conduct user research and testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure the implementation of UI/UX designs.
• Ensure designs adhere to Roblox platform guidelines and enhance the overall player experience.
• Stay updated on the latest UI/UX trends and best practices within the gaming industry.
• Step in and perform other relevant duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of three years of UI/UX design experience, with a focus on gaming or similar interactive platforms.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design work, particularly for Roblox or other gaming platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Passionate about games!

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience or certifications are also considered.

Preferred Technologies:

• Design Tools: Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD
• Experience with Roblox, Unity or Unreal

• This role is 100% remote with Orange Comet HQ located in Burbank, California.

Physical Demands

Compensation

The base salary range for a remote position in the United States is $50,000 USD – $125,000* USD + benefits.

*Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
