Job Responsibilities

  • Understand each of the PM’s business needs identify opportunities for analysis and provide insights to inform their decision-making.
  • Translate Product team members’ questions into KPIs that can be measured by tracking user interactions on our website and within our mobile applications, customer interactions with our customer service agents, and orders sales data, among others. Collaborate with product managers and designers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for evaluating product features and improvements.
  • Provide clear recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Generate insights by analyzing the product and customer behavior, tracking the customer journey, and monitoring the conversion funnel.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Interpret A/B test results to evaluate the impact of product changes and feature releases.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data findings effectively to stakeholders.
  • Ensure delivery of regular reports on time and without error.
  • Manage Web and App Analytics tools implementation such as Google Analytics, Firebase, Adjust, Convert, CrazyEgg, among others (configuring, optimizing, and analyzing these tools)
  • Ensure data accuracy and reliability by implementing data validation processes and monitoring data pipelines.
  • Document analysis methodologies, data sources, and findings to contribute to the knowledge repository of the team.
  • Implement and enforce data governance best practices.
  • Work closely with engineering, product managers, marketing, and customer support teams to identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives that enhance the user experience.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts within the team, sharing knowledge, and best practices, and fostering their professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and product management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Proven experience as a senior data analyst, with at least 4 years in a product-focused role
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis
  • 5+ years of experience in web analytics and app analytics, tracking, and data analysis (ideally at least 2 years in a scale-up environment).
  • 2+ years of experience as a team leader
  • 3+ years experience with Tableau Desktop, Power BI and/or Data Studio.
  • 4+ years of experience working with Google Analytics.
  • Detail-oriented and resolutive person, self-starter, and team player.
  • Fluent in English. Be able to communicate insights and recommendations to native English speakers.
  • Experience supporting team members with resolving technical blockages and definitions as well as coaching to develop team members’ skills.
  • Experience with project management is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
