Our QE’s are embedded in multi-functional product teams to advocate quality and continuous improvement at every stage of the software development process. Currently, we are looking to expand our team and hire a Senior Quality Automation Engineer to join the Ad Code team. Our Ad Code product is deployed on over 4,000 sites that reach over 199MM monthly unique users. This role will utilize your quality expertise to test high-performance JavaScript libraries that run in the browser. You will leverage your ability to interpret business requirements, deliver solutions that help our clients effectively monetize their traffic, make quality a part of every release cycle as well as help build our automation platform.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$180,000. The range provided is CafeMedia’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.

Job Responsibilities
- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications to support backend, API, frontend and database testing
- Leveraging test automation frameworks while driving processes to reduce manual test coverage
- Digging into data to ensure that the systems generating it are producing high-quality results
- Modeling an ethos of quality and reliability that enables speed and agility
Job Requirements
- You deeply understand test methodologies, such as functional, integration, regression, globalization, localization, and performance testing.
- You are proficient in web/browser fundamentals, including HTTP, HTML, CSS, and Javascript, as well as browser dev tools, examining the DOM, and identifying errors on a page
- You are comfortable designing, developing and maintaining reliable automated test suites that run as part of the project CI and/or nightly build system
- You have a strong technical background working with scalable test infrastructure and automation frameworks
- You are comfortable in a collaborative, agile, and distributed development environment
