We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Sales Compensation Manager to join our growing Revenue Operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the compensation structures across our Sales and Customer Success teams.
Reporting to the Director of Revenue Strategy & Analytics, you will collaborate closely with Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership to ensure our teams are effectively incentivized to reach Olo’s growth objectives. As part of the Revenue Operations team, you will play a key role in designing, executing and managing compensation plans that align with our revenue goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end compensation planning cycle, from initial design to deployment, ensuring alignment with Olo’s growth strategies and objectives for all variable incentive plans across the Go-To-Market (GTM) team
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all commission plans across the GTM organization. Clearly communicate the strategy, rationale and calculations behind these plans to stakeholders at all levels
- Oversee the quarterly variable pay calculations for the GTM team, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution in collaboration with the payroll team
- Partner with the Total Rewards and Sales Operations teams to continuously refine and enhance Sales and CS compensation plans, policies and processes to support evolving business needs
- Serve as the central point of contact and manager for variable compensation tools, specifically Everstage, ensuring optimal utilization and integration with existing processes
- Develop and implement advanced techniques for compiling, analyzing and presenting compensation-related data, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision making
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant experience in sales compensation, FP&A, or sales operations, preferably within a high-growth tech environment
- Hands-on experience with Sales Commission Software, Everstage experience strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets & Familiarity with Salesforce, including the ability to create and run ad hoc reports
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to manage complex compensation calculations and interpret data to inform compensation strategies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external partnersStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate across various levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and bring innovative solutions to compensation challenges
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
