As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join our finance team and play a pivotal role in driving our success.

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in performing accounting duties, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Job Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entry preparation, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statement analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analyses, providing insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Support external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and addressing audit inquiries.
  • Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate revenue and expense accruals and understand financial statement fluctuations.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 0-3 years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Previous experience in public accounting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial analysis principles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team with staff at all levels.


  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a lucrative 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $69,500 – $83,000. This role is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
