Job Overview:
$8k – $17k • No equity
I’m looking for an organized and resourceful virtual assistant to help with administrative tasks, research, data entry, ghost writing, and outreach management. You should be actively invested in building and improving communication processes, business processes, and overall workflows.
Ideally you’re looking for a long-term partnership where we both grow and thrive together for years to come.
Logistics
Ideally, you will be free for 10 – 20 hours per week to start. You must be available to work at least a couple of hours between the times of 3pm and 7pm Eastern Standard Time, as this is when we will collaborate most often.
You must be open to regular communication and consistent updates and availability. I am a creative ideas person so this job requires attention to process detail, and a bit of corralling me in.
I’ll have you keep a running Google Doc, Trello board, or similar tool that tracks the work we’re doing, the problems you’re solving, and the tasks we’re prioritizing next.
Payment
To start, the position pays up to $8 per hour. (Let me know your hourly rate in the application.) When we build trust you can expect to expand your hours and increase your hourly rate. This will be directly related to the businesses’ revenue.
In a perfect world you will have 1 – 2 years of experience working as a virtual assistant. If you don’t have this and you think this is the career for you, don’t let the requirement stop you from applying.
Job Requirements:
- First and foremost, you should be an efficient problem solver who is always looking to learn more.
- You should be a native-level English writer with a knack for catching (and keeping) people’s attention.
- Navigating the web and doing research quickly is necessary to your success. You should be able to type 50+ words per minute and you should know your way around the internet. If you are good at picking up new tools like Zapier and stuff to do work quickly we’ll get along great.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO is a must, but you don’t have to be an expert. I’m happy to teach you everything I know.
- Thoughtfulness is required. I love giving gifts and I’d want to hand over these kinds of meaningful tasks to you where possible.
- You should have regular access to a 5+ mbps internet connection so we can easily exchange files and video chat on a regular basis.
- If you can do light video and image editing, work in the WordPress or Shopify admin area, and/or do other social media management then any of that is a plus. (Note that your specialty should really be writing and VA work though.)
