Job Overview:

Integrated Ellucian Banner Enterprise Integrated Services (BEIS) tool with Identity Access Management

Job Responsibilities:

A techno functional person who can help integrate Banner with IAM. The resource is expected to know the main components that need to be configured (BEIS and maybe ETHOS EEI).  This is not just installing a single sign on SSO solution and we are looking at integrating the IAM solution with Banner to also provision and de-provision accounts. Here are some scenarios to be implemented

1.  A student goes through admission and gets accepted. In this case a student record will be created in Banner automatically. After that the student register his courses but does not pay his tuition. In this case we are expecting an event be triggered from Banner to the IAM solution so that his Banner access be put on hold.  We believe BEIS need to be configured to monitor this event from banner and based on that pass the information to IAM.

2. We hire a professor and his HR record gets added to Oracle HRMS. This is another event that should be sent to IAM from Oracle and after that IAM should provision an account for this professor in Banner.

3. Translate the business requirements into configurations in Banner BEIS to be used for integration with IAM (in our case Micro Focus).
