Job Description:
Thank you for your interest in the transcription contractor position with SyncScript! We are looking for transcriptionists to work remotely from the US. Transcribers have the flexibility to set their own schedules, working as much as they’d like. We ask that you are available for a minimum of 3 sound hours per week.
To apply, we require a short sample transcription test and a grammar test. We have attached the test instructions with all the information you need for downloading the audio file, grammar test, formatting instructions, and submitting the test. You can access this, along with further instructions here.
Transcription pay rates start at $0.57-$0.63/audio minute for verbatim transcription. This rate may vary based on each individual assignment’s specifications.
Applicants must have Microsoft Word 2007 or more recent, high-speed internet, a typing speed of 70+ wpm, and at least a 98% typing accuracy.
Once we have received both your sample transcription and the grammar test, we will reply to you within seven business days to let you know the results. We’ve also included some helpful hints in the attached instructions. The quicker you return the test to us, the quicker we can start sending you assignments!
