Studio Wildcard, creators of the smash indie hit ARK: Survival Evolved and the new survival franchise ATLAS, was founded in 2014 by industry veterans Jeremy Stieglitz and Jesse Rapczak. ATLAS is an immediate success upon Early Access launch and continues to break new highs on PC. We are looking for a skilled Writer to join our team and expand on the ATLAS universe.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create narrative storylines and characters within the ATLAS universe
- Collaborate with the development team to write content for various media platforms
- Document our systems and processes for other members of development
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional game writing experience with excellent storytelling, dialogue, and narrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with technical documentation
- Ensure all content produced can be easily updated by other developers
Pluses:
- At least 1 shipped titles credited as a writer or narrative designer
- Familiarity with Photoshop or the Unreal Editor
- Degree in creative writing or similar discipline
- Fan of the ARK or ATLAS Franchises
