Phreesia is looking for a Content Manager to join our growing Demand Generation team. This position will be responsible for planning, creating and editing content that increases awareness of our brand and drives demand for our products. This is an integral, hands-on role that will require collaboration, attention to detail, high-level editorial skills and creativity. The ideal candidate is a professional writer and storyteller with a demonstrated track record of distilling complex topics into engaging, thought-provoking content. This person should also have a deep understanding of the U.S. healthcare industry and the ability to communicate effectively about it.

Job Responsibilities:

The Content Manager will support the Senior Content Director in developing the content strategy, identifying gaps in our current content and growing Phreesia’s presence in the healthcare industry. The Content Manager will be responsible for pitching, writing and editing content across a range of channels, including blog posts, white papers, case studies, infographics and product collateral. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to produce high-impact thought leadership content that engages leading physician groups and health systems. This is an exciting role that will leverage the candidate’s strong writing and editing skills and provide opportunities to jump into a wide range of other projects, including video production, conference session planning, public relations and more. In short, at Phreesia, we wear a lot of hats.

  • Leverage understanding of healthcare trends to identify potential content themes and topics
  • Work with the Senior Content Director and other leaders in the organization to create, maintain and revise the overall company content strategy and calendar
  • Produce high-quality content across a range of formats that engages and provides clear benefits to the target audience
  • Collaborate with other members of the demand generation team to evaluate and optimize content assets, increase campaign effectiveness, lead generation and conversion rates
  • Provide editorial and copywriting functions across the company, ensuring adherence to grammar, syntax and organizational voice

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Understanding of the healthcare system (required) and the health information technology industry (preferred)
  • Flexible, reliable and detail-oriented
  • Skilled at generating creative ideas for content
  • Self-directed and able to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, measurement-driven organization
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated track record of producing content aimed at a target audience
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
