Job Overview:

Tooth and Coin is a fast growing, fun loving, client-centered, techno-savvy, accounting and consulting CPA practice located in a fantastic location in West Little Rock.

We are searching for team members who have the same hard working but fun loving mentality to join us in our mission to provide the best possible service for our amazing clients.

We service dental practices across almost every state and are obsessed with helping our clients meet their goals, understand their financials, not worry about their accounting, not be afraid of their taxes, and to consult with them on how to pay the lowest amount of money in taxes as legally possible.

Within the first three months:

• Coding cash transactions for clients.
• Complete training on our systems.

• Collaborate with team members on delivering amazing service to our clients.
• Help keep up with important deadlines for clients.

Within One Year:

• Assist the tax department with preparing work files.
• Assisting clients with filing specific forms such as 1099s.
• Coordinating with clients on answering questions about transactions.
• Assisting with on-boarding clients.

Job Requirements:

• We are a tech savvy firm that works in the cloud so you must be able to use computers. If you are befuddled with the reasons that the cloud is amazing, then this isn’t the position for you.
• We can provide office space if needed, but if you are a self-motivated person who can stick to deadlines, working from home is fine.
• Can’t be offended by flip-flops.
• Must be willing to follow instructions.
• Must be willing to say when the instructions are wrong.
• While we do offer work from home opportunities, you must be available to meet at our office at least once a quarter for team training and planning.
• You HAVE to be self-motivated to work. If you can’t handle your own schedule this is not the job for you as the rest of the team depends on your work.
• If you don’t like deadlines, this isn’t the job for you.
• If you face a new project as a burden or overwhelming, this isn’t the job for you. If you face a new project as an opportunity to learn – this is a great position for you.
• We are educators – if you don’t like explaining your work then this isn’t the position for you.
• You must be able to play nice with others. Our company is a team and we depend on each other to complete our jobs in a timely manner and to a high degree of expertise, if you are more of a loner and don’t like asking for help (and giving it) then this isn’t the position for you. You have to be proactive to stay in sync with the rest of the team.
• You have to be a great communicator to work with our team and our clients.
• You have to be efficiency driven – you should be able to come up with ways to do your own job better but still be accurate.
• You have to be an eager learner as many details of your job will change month over month.
• You have to be ok with others getting praise for your work. You won’t always be on the receiving end of praise and can’t have thoughts that you are just a cog in a wheel with someone else getting credit, that’s just the way the process works sometimes but realize credit is given when credit is due.
• You have to be a positive person. For example, you can’t read this list of “who should apply” and think “I don’t think I’m that person”.
• You should be confident in your role and yourself without a need for affirmation and approval.
