We are seeking a visionary Head of Brand Communications to lead our marketing communications efforts. In this dynamic role, you will drive brand awareness, engage audiences, and position Plex as the go-to streaming service for entertainment enthusiasts worldwide. You will oversee public relations, corporate communications, brand marketing, social media, event marketing, and more. This is a high-impact leadership position with the opportunity to shape Plex’s voice and presence in the marketplace.

Job Responsibilities

  • Public Relations: Develop and execute PR strategies to amplify Plex’s visibility, manage media relations, and enhance our reputation as a trusted video streaming service.
  • Corporate Communications: Oversee internal and external communications, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Brand Marketing: Drive brand positioning and awareness through strategic campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Social Media Management: Lead the social media team to create compelling, platform-optimized content that drives engagement and community growth.
  • Influencer Marketing and Community Building: Partner with influencers to create content that promotes Plex products or services.
  • Event Marketing: Plan and execute events (virtual and in-person) to showcase Plex’s offerings and engage with key stakeholders, partners, and users.
  • Campaign Development: Conceptualize and oversee integrated marketing campaigns that support user acquisition, retention, and engagement goals.
  • Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align marketing efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Performance Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure the success of marketing and communications initiatives, leveraging data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and communications, including leadership roles within the media, entertainment, or tech industries.
  • Proven expertise in public relations, corporate communications, and brand marketing.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, platforms, and best practices.
  • Experience building brand loyalty campaigns through community building and influencer marketing.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, with a flair for creative storytelling.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
