About you

We’re looking for a Java/Kotlin developer to join our Developer Experience team. The DevEx team helps developers be successful with our platform, Chromia.

In this role we are looking for someone who is always looking for improvements, thinking outside the box and willing to work in an organization with a low level of bureaucracy and a flat hierarchy in close collaboration with our other developers.

Job Responsibilities

• Build command line tools to help developers on the Chromia platform run blockchain platform nodes for local development, run unit tests in our proprietary programming language (Rell), deploy dApps to the platform, and more.
• Work with our core development team to improve the experience for developers using our platform.
• Contribute to the Rell interpreter (written in Java and Kotlin) for the purpose of building a language server that can enable language support for Rell in various code editors.
• Become an expert in ChromaWay’s blockchain platforms (Postchain and Chromia)
• Learn and build dApps in our programming language (Rell)

Job Requirements

• 5+ years as a software developer
• Fluent in Java and Kotlin
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in agile ways of working

Bonus:

• Web3 experience
• Experience building tooling (such as command line tools)
• Experience as a frontend developer (JavaScript and/or TypeScript)
