The Cryptocurrency Investigator will play a critical role in investigating cases of cryptocurrency fraud, recovering stolen assets, and providing expert analysis on blockchain transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and asset recovery techniques.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into cryptocurrency-related scams and fraud cases.
  • Analyze blockchain transactions to trace and identify fraudulent activities.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies, legal teams, and other stakeholders to recover stolen assets.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation of findings for use in legal proceedings.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
  • Provide expert advice and insights on cryptocurrency security and fraud prevention measures.
  •  Educate clients on best practices for safeguarding their digital assets.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a related field (or related to fraud and asset recovery legal background).
  •  Interest in cryptocurrency investigations, blockchain analysis, or a related area.
  • Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and digital wallets.
  • Familiarity with various blockchain analysis tools and software.
  •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Tech startups or having technical knowledge is preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with law enforcement or legal teams on asset recovery cases.
  • Knowledge of multiple cryptocurrencies and their specific characteristics.
  • Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues related to cryptocurrency.
