We’re excited to welcome an experienced Social Media Manager to join Aimtal’s Content Marketing team. This person will be responsible for managing and creating content and campaigns on social media channels for a number of Aimtal’s clients. You will also have the opportunity to develop and expand new and existing processes for social media management at the agency.

We’re looking for someone who can jump in with both feet and showcase their social media marketing and copywriting skills, creativity, analytical mindset, and resourcefulness. You will work with our account managers and graphic designers on client social media initiatives to brainstorm, create, execute, analyze, and optimize social media content and campaigns across a variety of channels.

The ideal candidate enjoys the highly creative aspects of social media as well as getting into the nitty-gritty of data and analysis. You enjoy thinking strategically and applying your r creativity to execute high-performing and engaging content in order to build an engaged community online.

This position will report to the Senior Content Marketing Manager and will be an integral member of a growing team and department at the agency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the client, account managers, graphic designers, and content strategists to brainstorm, communicate, and execute content for our client’s social media channels.
  • Write and edit high-quality and high-performing social media content. (This role does not require graphic design experience.)
  • Create and execute monthly social media topic calendars.
  • Manage social media channels, including engaging with followers, community management, monitoring content performance, and scheduling content for Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Analyze social media content performance, analyze & report on the data, and present learnings and future recommendations to the internal team and clients.
  • Set key performance indicators (KPIs) for social media content and campaigns.
  • Take an integrated approach to social media and incorporate larger marketing concepts into social content, such as brand personality, voice, and tone, lead generation, and the marketing funnel.
  • Collaborate with the demand generation team to create, execute, and monitor paid social advertising campaigns.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on social media industry updates and trends.
  • Manage the agency’s SproutSocial account and agency partnership.
  • Identify and develop opportunities to streamline and improve social media processes and workflows with support from the agency’s Project Management team

Job Requirements:

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a social media management role.
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field.
  • You have experience managing a team of social media creators.
  • You have excellent copywriting and editing skills.
  • You have experience with creating content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Experience with TikTok is not required but preferred.
  • You have experience working at a marketing agency.
  • You have a basic understanding of paid social media advertising. Extensive experience with setting up and managing paid ads is not required but preferred.
  • You have experience with SaaS, tech, and/or eCommerce industries.
  • You have a consultative, collaborative, and empathetic mindset.
  • You have an understanding of larger marketing concepts, such as brand personality, voice, and tone, lead generation, and the marketing funnel.
  • Experience using tools such as ClickUp, Trello, SproutSocial, Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom.
  • You have exceptional communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Open to receiving feedback and applying it for performance and process improvement
  • Effectively self-manage tasks and deadlines and prefer to work with a remote team
