Job Description:

At Wayfairer Travel we design inspiring, luxury tailor-made holidays for our clients. We work with a core commitment to local communities and conservation efforts, striving for a fairer travel industry.

As part of the content writer internship you’ll have the opportunity to take a key role in writing luxury travel related content on the Wayfairer Travel site, creating original blog posts on relevant travel topics and updating new content onto the Content Management System.

Your day to day tasks will include writing descriptions of our travel itineraries whilst keeping our target audience in mind, consistent and accurate research for new travel experiences and destinations.

You’ll need to have a sound understanding of SEO, an overall understanding of the best digital marketing practices and be able to write concise, informative and inspiring copy.

This positions requires creativity and extreme attention to detail. Our team work in autonomy and do not require daily management, therefore responsibility and ownership of your work is also vital.

The full time role will begin immediately on a 6 month contract in our new and modern Bangkok office, after which if both parties are happy, you will have the opportunity to continue your role remotely from anywhere you wish.

We are an exciting young startup with projects across designing luxury travel. You should be ready to help out across all the departments when needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to blog writing on topics related to our destinations, as well as industry topics.
  • Contribute to the website development, including writing copy consistent with our brand styling.
  • Assist with our social media & email marketing efforts
  • Uploading content onto the Content Management System.
  • Keep track of web traffic and trends using tools such as Google Analytics
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Moz
  • Work on content for our partner sites
  • Other tasks when appointed
  • Team player, on a small tight-knit team where you play a significant role
  • Willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks including administrative tasks
  • Be able to work remotely with other team members in different time zones

Job Requirements:

  • ENGLISH NATIVE SPEAKERS ONLY DUE TO NATURE OF WORK (WRITTEN CONTENT).
  • Certificate in content marketing, SEO and digital marketing
  • Graduate degree in English Language, Literature or related.
  • Travel experience or familiarity with our destinations essential
  • Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator a plus.
  • Web savvy with knowledge of internet search techniques, social networking sites and blogs.
