Job Description:
Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and the Wolfram Language, has an opportunity for a Web Developer with a diverse skill set to work in the Wolfram|Alpha Web R&D department. The position will entail collaborating with multiple teams to produce projects of varying sizes and levels of complexity. The ideal candidate will have a talent for collaborative development in a small team and for working independently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain front end applications in various frameworks
- Transition older codebases toward newer technologies
- Write unit tests
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to test, debug and release quality code updates
- Create technical documentation for applications
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, physics or a related technical or quantitative field
- At least 1 year of experience in JavaScript, CSS and ReactJS
- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server architectures
- Ability to transfer UX and designs into code with high fidelity
- Experience working in an Agile-Kanban project
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
