This person would be responsible for writing ELL support for K-8 Mathematics materials. Experience in specific grades within the K-8 range are welcome. This will be a contract-based position specific to project needs. Experience in both the classroom and K-12 publishing is preferred.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proficiency in English Language Learner support and experience writing and editing ELL content
  • Experience with G6-8 math content and practice standards, including Common Core State Standards
  • Demonstrated experience within the K-12 publishing industry
  • 5+ years of classroom experience
  • Expertise in MS Office and publishing software.
  • Expertise in using the Internet efficiently for research.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret state guidelines and standards
  • Ability to follow project documents, such as specifications/writing guidelines, instructions, and procedures checklists.
  • Experience in working collaboratively as a member/leader of cross-functional development teams.
