Job Description:

The Sales Operations Manager will play a key role at Remote Year. This person will bring a vast toolkit of both sales and operations-related methods, practices, and ideas, and be equally adept at implementing those strategies into successful sales team operations. Combining the strength of execution with the ability to act as a thought partner and change agent within the sales vertical, the Sales Operations Manager will be a champion for the Remote Year sales team. This role will center around (1) Operations, (2) Salesforce administration, (3) Reporting, and (4) Analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily sales operations, including both strategic elements (processes, quota alignments) and operationally (tools)
  • Manage Salesforce: update workflows, debug issues, build reports, and handle other administrative tasks
  • Monitor key sales metrics, analyze results, and provide reporting and recommendations to the Head of Sales on appropriate actions
  • Work closely with the heads of Marketing and Sales to implement opportunities to improve sales management tools and processes that support sales strategy
  • Optimize sales efficiency by refining processes and making systematic enhancements and resolving operational inconsistencies and bottlenecks that are slowing down the sales team
  • Liaise with product teams, marketing, operations, admissions, and onboarding teams to ensure communication flow is timely, consistent and productive
  • Lead third party tool administration and contract/vendor management
  • Quickly and accurately perform detailed sales analysis in response to ad-hoc requests

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of sales operations experience in rapidly growing organizations
  • Certifications and/or familiarity with Salesforce and other sales/customer tracking tools
  • Advanced Excel skills – confidently manage large data sets
  • Documented experience developing and managing sales methodologies, processes, policies and procedures
  • High level of ability to read, analyze and create reports on large complex data sets utilizing appropriate tools
  • Experience in marketing operations, both in process, reporting, and automation tools is a plus
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Pardot is a plus
