The Job Role

We are seeking a CSS/HTML5 developer that is eager to merge the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will involve translating the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will generate visual aspects of the application. You will collaborate with the UI/UX designer to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, playing an active part on both sides and defining how the program appears as well as how it operates. 

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with web designers to talk about the layout and design of the project
• Coding the entire website from beginning to end
• Front-end web apps and code debugging
• Cross-platform compatibility must be ensured
• Find errors in applications and troubleshoot them
• Performing usability and performance testing on websites

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, or a related field
• At least three years of HTML/CSS development experience is required
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and XML 
• Experience in troubleshooting code and application is highly desirable
• Experience in translating user requirements into code
• Experience in building intuitive front-end applications
• Good knowledge of SEO principles and ensuring that the application follows them
• Understanding of code versioning technologies (Git, Mercurial, SVN) is required
• If necessary, any professional certificates
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• A strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
