The Associate Project Manager is an integral member of the IT PD&S team. The Associate Project Manager will assist the IT PD&S management team, project managers and project delivery leaders with planning and coordinating activities of technology projects to ensure that goals and objectives of projects are accomplished within the established time frames, budget parameters, while ensuring the project management practice’s processes are followed, improved upon and kept up to date. It is essential for the Associate Project Manager to develop a basic understanding of overall project management methodologies, tools and processes to help ensure success for the entire practice.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PD&S management team, project managers, and project delivery leaders with implementing project management processes as well as making improvement/changes.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, evaluation, and audit of project management processes and templates for PD&S Team.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with delivery standards.
  • Assess, review, and ensure quality and brand standards and delivery processes (e.g., communications, processes, methods, tools, admin , etc.) are adhered to appropriately.
  • Participate in project leadership meetings, prepare meeting documentation, and drive action item completion.
  • Prepare and maintain portfolio documentation (e.g. status dashboards, project status, financials, milestones/deliverables reporting, etc.)
  • Create, develop and/or support executive communications related to overall IT portfolio.
  • Support the organization of the portfolio and sub-project related documentation for stakeholders in various sources (e.g., Clarity, SharePoint , intranet , share drives, etc.)
  • Support contract and invoicing processing (procure-to-pay)
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of PD&S annual planning process, quarterly meetings, and department training events.

Job Requirements:

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent time management, planning and organization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate information and interact with stakeholders at all levels including senior leadership.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings, under the guidance and support of a project manager or PD&S Leader.
  • Proven ability to proactively collaborate and build relationships, take initiative, and creatively problem-solve.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders for a positive outcome.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines and having a strong attention to detai .

Preferred Qualifications

  • History of successfully coordinating projects, with multiple facets and stakeholders.
  • Experience in developing reports with Business Objects/Crystal Reports.
  • Knowledge of CA Clarity.
