The Role

The QA Operations Specialist provides support to key regulated areas such as training, document management, change management, deviation/investigation management, risk management, and CAPA. Primary responsibilities include performing required activities within several Key Process Areas (KPA): Resource Management (e.g., assign training, maintain LMS), Records Management (e.g., complete GxP/Quality review of records and process documents), and Change & Configuration Management (e.g. create change control records). This role works closely with business process owners to perform responsibilities across Quality Operations KPA.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assign training curriculum to employees and contractors globally during onboarding, job transfer, and updates to process documents (e.g., policies, procedures)
  • Oversee the collection of training events/evidence including the completion of required training curricula and the maintenance of Employee Training records
  • Ensure global standardization and usage of LMS in the following areas (Curriculum management, Creating and modifying LMS reports, System Administration)
  • Perform GxP/Quality review of various records, including operations checklists and OQ test scripts
  • Provide quality review of process documents (e.g., Work Instructions) and coordinate document periodic review activities
  • Provide QA OPs business process owners with logistics support and assistance

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
  • Relevant Industry Experience: 1+ years in a QA or Training/HR role
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (i.e., training and document management programs)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable in electronic Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and engaging culturally diverse groups
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based on changing priorities

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Veeva Vault Cloud Platform
  • Experience working in Life Sciences industry
  • Working knowledge of Quality Principles as manifest in ISO9001, ISO13485, or QSRs

Compensation

  • Base pay: $70,000 – $115,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
