The Enterprise Martech Project Manager is a highly motivated, expert collaborator with experience in IT, MarTech, and/or digital product development. This roll will support the Product Office, responsible for alignment of Enterprise Martech’s goals and initiatives with those of CVS Health. This role covers a diverse stack of platforms, driving successful development and resolution of features and defects, respectively.

Success is defined by timeliness of deliverables, and raising and identifying roadblocks / factors emerging that warrant re-prioritization of projects, changes to timelines and PI plans.

The Enterprise Martech Project Manager will liaise with Release Train Engineers, scrum masters, marketing strategy project leads, various IT partners, Architecture and Engineering teams, and vendors on a project-dependent basis.

Uniquely positioned at a central and pivotal point for CVS Health, this team is responsible for driving innovation through new technologies within the expansive marketing technology industry. This role has the ability to learn, and adopt the use of new tech for CVS Health across several lines of business within the organization.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 75,400
Maximum: 158,300

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with leaders and operational peers to manage project planning and delivery in a fully-scaled Agile environment (both SAFe and waterfall approaches needed, situationally)
  • Work with internal clients, cross functional operational areas, and IT in product-based planning and innovation
  • Development of project schedules, creation and distribution of issues list, escalation management, facilitating cross-functional meetings (e.g. agenda preparation, reports distribution, material gathering and distribution, and communication of decisions/results, etc.), and liaison between internal clients, operational staff, and IT
  • Identify project risks and develop risk management plans; understand the impact of change requests, handle re-prioritization, escalate issues to workstream partners and leadership where appropriate. Regularly evaluate feasibility of timely project completion based on milestone status.
  • Support project plans and change implementation; validate progress to ensure the projects and teams are executing effectively and have information or conditions needed for success. Identify and track issues, and support efforts to eliminate roadblocks and bottlenecks.
  • Identify opportunities to extend project scopes to streamline operations while ensuring leaders are aware of and meeting obligations within relevant processes, change activities and organizational activities
  •  Gathers program or project budget information for staffing, software, tools, required for completion. Supports finance lead to ensure that project budgets are on-track and continue to support successful delivery.
  • For each project, involve necessary workstreams, build out project-specific RACI, and work with Sr. Manager, Platform Success to facilitate future-state process and RACI prior to project completion, allowing internal clients to hit the ground running post-delivery
  • Proactively manage and share information, calendars and reminders so that colleagues are aware of various operational responsibilities and are able to flag potential misses early on.
  • Build out and maintain foundational Enterprise Martech project management artifacts
  • Assists in managing digital intake processes via QuickBase, ongoing intake management and tracking which informs prioritization and updates to overall project cadence

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of Project Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  •  Experience working with executives, colleagues and leaders of all levels and understanding their priorities and goals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS – excellent verbal and written communication skills demonstrated through communication, presentation, and facilitation with IT and business audiences, including presentations to groups and senior management is a must
  • SCHEDULE MANAGEMENT – proven success managing to an aggressive schedule is a must
    • MS PROJECT – demonstrated skill in developing and maintaining a detailed resource loaded and leveled schedule using MS Project or equivalent is a must
  • EXECUTION – ability to drive delivery and contain scope/schedule/cost while achieving the end goal
  • SCOPE MANAGEMENT – responsible for managing acceptance criteria throughout the translation of Requirements into design and delivery, as well as ongoing scope containment
  • CHANGE MANAGEMENT – ability to establish a formal change management process and execute through that process
  •  RISK and ISSUE MANAGEMENT – experience with risk workshops, risk analysis, schedule analysis, issue management, formal risk and issue logs
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT – balanced approach to resources, appropriate utilization, and management of costs
  •  ANALYTICAL DECISION MAKING – ability to exercise professional judgment in analyzing and resolving issues
  • PM EXPERIENCE – greater than 5 years
  • PROJECT SCALE – multiple projects; has previously supported several medium ($500K-$1M) efforts concurrently, or 1 or 2 large (1.5M+) projects concurrently

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
