Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced web content writer to join our team at Sleep Help. In this remote, contract writing/research position, you’ll create both commercial sleep product reviews and in-depth resources covering the most important topics in sleep health.

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of professional writing experience and is comfortable developing engaging and effective content for online audiences. We are looking for someone who can offer a consistent 20+ hours or 6,000-10,000 words of writing a week. If you have a passion for writing about commercial products and crafting interesting stories, you will fit in perfectly.

You will be responsible for writing and researching short and long form editorial, product rankings, and site copy. This requires you to be chameleon writer, as comfortable synthesizing scientific research to a lay audience as you are writing engaging product content, all in adherence to an internal style guide. Our writers enjoy digging into their assignments, conducting in-depth online research and growing into experts in the sleep industry. They are deadline-driven.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communication or a related field
Minimum 2+ years of writing/editing experience
Experience with HTML / Google Docs
Experience writing, editing, formatting, uploading content for the web
Ability to derive insights from complex data and turn those into effective copy
