This Digital Remote Services – APM Product Owner works with Field and Service Engineers, regional leaders and key customers to gather Asset Performance Management (APM) requirements and support the Product Manager in creating and prioritizing the remote services roadmap, goals and initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

The Product Owner will work directly with internal and customers to gather requirements and standards and be the liaison between the software development team and the customers. As the customer moves to adopting the GE solution, the Product Owner will play an important role in customer system configuration and collaborating with services team to enhance customer satisfaction with the solution. .

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Works closely with Product Management to understand the strategic roadmap and understands what can be accomplished within a release.
  • Meets with internal and external customers to research user needs; collaborates with User Experience Team on usability testing to ensure the product meets customer needs
  • Provides demonstrations and training on the product to other groups and may support training efforts with customers
  • Defines, organizes, maintains and delivers functional and data requirements
  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders, including, but not limited to customers, regional managers and the development team to make sure the goals are clear and the vision is aligned with business objectives.
  • Creates list of backlog items and prioritizes them based on the overall strategy and business objectives.
  • Creates high-level stories and features that will serve as a springboard for Technical Product Managers (TPM) and Scrum teams when the solution has been groomed to be handed off to development
  • Understands and defines requirements in Agile requirement structure (Theme/Epic/Feature/User stories) and always have the holistic view of the application – from feature as well as architecture design perspective.
  • Works with R&D, Automation and cross functional teams to collect and analyze the data needed to support remote service use cases
  • Leads customer and stakeholder interviews to align product design with roles (personas)
  • Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise
  • Completes other tasks and projects as assigned

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.
  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Technology, Business or related field preferred
  • A minimum of 4-years’ experience working as a product owner, business analyst, product manager or similar role
  • Demonstrates substantial experience with the technology stack and its impact on the final product
  • Strong analytical and process skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, matrixed, Global and customer focused environment
  • Ability to work effectively across functions to deliver results and execute multiple commitments within the Global Environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skillsDesired Characteristics:
  • Experience in working with an installed base team and /or within a service organization
  • Experience working with GE Healthcare Life Sciences products is preferred
  • Experience working with Data and Analytics
  • Ability to work in an independent manner.
  • Ability to motivate diverse, cross-functional global teams and Proven ability to influence and
  • negotiate internally and with customers.
  • Experience working within the Agile process
  • Understanding of the application of modern machine learning technologies.
  • Understanding the User Experience definition process.
